Ashlee Yackley
Miss Ashlee is a passionate dancer and dedicated director, whose journey in dance began at the tender age of 5 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Having trained extensively in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, and modern at the esteemed Fort Wayne Ballet for 13 years, she developed a deep-rooted love for the art form. Throughout her tenure, she graced the stage in numerous ballet productions, notably "The Nutcracker," alongside other classics like Swan Lake and Paquita. Transitioning to higher education, Ashlee pursued her passion at Anderson University, where she delved into dance business and youth leadership development, earning her bachelor's degree in 2021. She continued to excel in performance, becoming a cherished member of the Circle City Tap Company in Indianapolis, showcasing her mastery in tap. Her talent and dedication were duly recognized, earning her consecutive "Excellence in Tap Performance" awards during her college years. Today, as the director of Starlettes and tap at Wishes Dance Studio, Ashlee continues to inspire and nurture the next generation of dancers while captivating audiences with her electrifying performances in the greater Indianapolis area.
Fun fact: I used to ice skate before I started dancing.
