Mr. Joel is a choreographer, dance instructor and performer from Indianapolis, IN. He began dancing at the age of four and started competing at the age of eight winning numerous regional and national competitions. Joel primarily trained at Stage 1 Dance Academy and the Indianapolis School of Ballet. Joel has performed with the Baltimore Symphony, The Cincinnati Pops, and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra as a vocalist and dancer. He has also performed in regional theatres around the country including the Lexington Opera House and the Interlakes Theatre in New Hampshire. Joel has been choreographing and teaching professionally around the Midwest for the past six years. He has been a dance clinician for high school theatre and choir departments and choreographed multiple full-scale musicals for community theatres around the Indianapolis area. Joel has also been a guest instructor and choreographer for competition dance studios in Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky. Joel has won many awards for his choreography, and he has truly found his passion teaching dance to students of all levels.

Fun fact: I was a Gladiator in the Super Bowl XLVI halftime show with Madonna!
