New to Wishes or our Modern Program? Finding the perfect Modern class is easy!

No matter your age or skill level we have the perfect class for you!

Dancers ages 6 to 10 should join Modern Level 1 or Modern Level 1-2

Dancers ages 10+ should join Modern Level 1-2 Tween/Teen/Adult

New dancers will be evaluated during their first few classes. Should the dancer need to move up to another level, parents will be notified of their updated skill assessment.

Current Wishes dancers who have taken Modern before should refer to their skills in the parent portal to find the perfect Modern class.

Modern Level 4 to 7 classes are part of the Year-round Program. To enroll please visit the Front Desk.

Everything you need for your first modern class!

Modern Level 1 to Level 3 has no dress requirements. Wearing pink tights, any color leotard, and hair pulled in a bun is recommended. While most dancers wear the aforementioned items, dancers may wear any clothes they can comfortably dance in.

Modern Level 4 to 7 dancers are required to wear a black leotard, pink tights, and hair pulled back in a bun. Plain black dance shorts are optional. No skirt. Barefoot or turners are optional for modern classes.
